The High Point Area Arts Council’s annual Expo Vino, a wine-tasting event and silent auction, will be held Friday, November 4, 2011 at the High Point Country Club from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Once again, Mutual Distributing and other vintners will present wines from around the world. Whether you are curious about how to serve merlot, what wine to serve with fish or fowl, or have the desire to start a small wine collection, this event is a terrific tool for helping you learn a bit more about wines. This event will be paired with an array of hors d’oeuvres to make the evening a special experience.

Expo Vino is the Arts Council’s most successful fund-raising event. Silent auction items will include art, entertainment, home furnishings, and of course, wine. The evening will end with a live auction plus coffee and desserts beginning at 10:00 p.m.!

Proceeds from this event will benefit the High Point Area Arts Council and its affiliated arts organizations. Tickets for this fun-filled evening are $40 and reservations must be made by October 31. To make reservations, contact Rhonda Snider at 889-2787 ext. 24.
