Awards Each
spring, the Awards Committee of the High Point Area Arts
Council seeks nominations for awards to be made at the arts
council’s Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon that is held in
June. While sponsored by the Arts Council, the Mayor’s
Awards recognize businesses and individuals that have
demonstrated excellence and commitment in support of the
arts in the High Point area.

The Volunteer of the Year
Award recognizes service specifically to the Arts Council
while the Mayor’s Awards honor those whose contributions to
the arts are spread broadly over the entire arts community.
