Fund Raising
The Arts Council sponsors
two fund-raising events during the year plus the United Arts
Fund Drive to raise funds to support six arts organizations
in High Point—Carousel Theatre, High Point Ballet, High
Point Community Concerts, High Point Community Theatre, Piedmont Artists, and the Arts
Council.
Expo Vino is the Arts Council’s
most successful fund-raising event with a wine tasting and
silent auction in the fall. This event is held in early
November at the High Point Country Club.
Patty's Party is an informal
St. Patrick's Day celebration with food, music, dancing, and
Pot O' Gold raffles.
The United Arts Fund Drive is
conducted January through June each year. The 2011 goal is
to raise $250,000 to benefit arts productions and programs
in our community.

fund-raising events and the annual campaign, arts patrons can $hop
for the Art$ by shopping online through the Arts Council's
portal at marketamerican.com/highpointarts.
