About the event
Join us for the fall Titan Civic Band concert. This community concert will be a blend of pieces centered on Halloween themes and a tribute to Hispanic Heritage Month. Some of the band’s selections for the evening will include Khachaturian’s Masquerade Suite, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Whitacre’s October, and Marquina’s España Cañí. Adjunct GTCC music instructor Chris Woods will be a featured guest trumpet soloist on Monterde’s La Virgen de Macarena.
The Titan Civic Band is a collaboration between Guilford Technical Community College and The High Point Arts Council.
Under the direction of Dr. Ronnal Ford and Dr. Thomas Takayama members comprised of musicians from across the North Carolina Triad Region.
General admission tickets are $10 and can be purchased online or at the door.
