Teresa W. Lindsey

Teresa W. Lindsey is a native of High Point, North Carolina, and a dynamic Psalmist, Playwright, Film Director, Visionary Entrepreneur, Caterer, and Event Professional with more than 30 years of experience creating memorable events and bringing creative visions to life.
 

Teresa began her career in the event industry more than three decades ago as a Wedding Consultant. What started as a passion for helping people create beautiful and meaningful celebrations soon developed into a full-scale event business, offering services ranging from event consulting and party planning to event décor and coordination.
 

In 2015, Teresa expanded her business by adding catering services through A.J.C.M. Catering & Events. Through A.J.C.M., Teresa takes pride in working closely with each client to bring their vision to life—from the inception of an idea through the planning process and execution of the event. Her goal is to ensure that every celebration is uniquely designed, professionally executed, and creates memories that her clients will never forget.
 

In 2022, Teresa joined the team at the High Point Arts Council as the Events & Facilities Manager at Centennial Station Arts Center. In this role, she combines her extensive event experience with her passion for hospitality and facility management. Teresa works diligently to ensure that every rental client who enters the facility feels welcomed, valued, and confident that the team will work together to make their event run smoothly and successfully.
 

Teresa also served as Project Manager for the David R. Hayworth Grant Renovation of the High Point Arts Council/Centennial Station in 2025, helping oversee an important renovation project that enhanced the facility and its ability to serve the community.
 

Teresa believes that her creativity is more than a career—it is a part of who she is. She shares, “Cooking is a passion to me, and I love to decorate. Both are medicinal to me. It’s my Happy Place.”
 

Whether she is planning an event, creating a beautiful tablescape, preparing a meal, managing a facility, writing a production, or using her voice through music, Teresa W. Lindsey continues to turn passion into purpose and visions into unforgettable experiences.
