Alex Figueroa is a mixed-media artist from the Bronx, New York, now based in Greensboro, North Carolina. As the owner of AF. Artistry and executive director of BTMMA – Bend The Mind Metamorphic Academies, he creates work that bridges art, emotion, and community.
Specializing in raw expressionism, Alex blends graffiti, abstract, and fine art to channel unfiltered emotion and truth onto every surface. His artistic mission centers on self-expression as a path to healing and individuality, a theme reflected in his murals, canvas work, and creative initiatives.
Alex has created large-scale, expressive murals across North Carolina, bringing energy and dialogue to both private and public spaces. His work has been featured at the Greensboro History Museum, and he has also exhibited at Art Basel, highlighting his growing presence…
