About the event

Paige Cox is a North Carolina–based fiber artist celebrated for her distinctive textile works and inventive sculptures incorporating papier-mâché and found objects. Known for her experimental approach, she works across a range of techniques—including felting, weaving, tufting, and upcycled assemblage—creating pieces that invite viewers to escape, engage, and connect.

Infused with vibrant color, rich texture, and a playful sense of humor, Paige’s work is both approachable and dynamic. She creates with the intention of sparking joy, encouraging audiences to interact with art in a way that feels intuitive, lighthearted, and memorable.


Using fiber like some might use fireworks—bold, unpredictable, and impossible to ignore—Paige constructs lively, tactile sculptures from tufted yarn, scrap fabric, and reclaimed materials she finds irresistible. Tufting anchors her process: fast-paced, immersive, and joyfully chaotic, resulting in works that pulse with energy and invite closer inspection.
