About the event
SummerSounds Concert Series is the High Point Arts Council’s 2026 summer outdoor concert series, offering free live music on Friday evenings from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Concerts take place throughout the summer in parks and across the City of High Point, the Town of Jamestown and in Centennial Station Arts Center, making live music accessible and enjoyable for the entire community. This season’s lineup features a diverse mix of musical genres, including reggae, big band, Latin, and jazz.
Titus Gant is a jazz saxophonist, music educator, and nonprofit founder dedicated to advancing arts education and cultural excellence. A native of Reevesville, South Carolina, he began his musical journey in the church before discovering the saxophone at age ten. He earned a full scholarship to Claflin University, where he received a degree in Music Education, and later completed postgraduate studies in jazz at North Carolina Central University.
